When Tuhina's (name changed to protect identity) family moved to another city, a different school, over the top friends, the discovery of her passion to pursue medicine as a career and eventually meeting her soul-mate completely erased the episodes of inexplicable childhood blackouts from her teenage memory. Then last year, as she was cleaning out the storeroom, in an effort to declutter her life, she chanced upon a brown notebook.
In a barely intelligible scrawl that was little Tuhina's handwriting the words 'Tuhina Bhattacharya' & '1995' were penned on the the first page. The discovery amused her as it piqued her curiosity and she opened a random page. Upon reading the first few words, the memory of that tormentous year of blackouts and sessions with Dr. Sampat came back to her. She navigated back to the first page and with enormous difficulty owing to the bad handwriting and poor spellings/grammar, read through the first entry.
She could not believe what she read.
